DPS shows off boats at grand opening of regional office

They can go bay fishing in it too. ..but seriously, it looks a lot better armored than the Homeland Security shallow water patrollers. So sad to see the militarization of the Texas Border waters, but this is only the tip of the iceberg. I was looking for the machine guns but maybe they don’t put them in until they launch. Seems we have another escalation. Beginning to look a lot like Vietnam.
Another 34 million dollars or so. Let’s see. there’s the Coast Guard, The Navy, and now the Texas Navy. There’s a lot of water out there to patrol, and the United States wants to patrol it all. Seems the only answer is more war and more war material. Higher taxes and more deficit spending.
Texas has it’s fancy boats but the Mexicans have inner tubes, narco-subs, and cigarette boats. They have desperation on their side as well. And they are clever and inventive. So game on. We all need to watch and see where this goes.
