Commentary from the River’s Edge

 Well, at UT/PanAm University in Edinburg they now have a total smoking ban. This means parking lots. Outside, inside, every square inch of the university. It also applies to chewing tobacco and snuff. What are the second hand effects of these? The important thing is that one-size fits all conformity rules, and that the state can make you not do whatever it at first, decides that you shouldn’t do. Then secondly, make you do just whatever they think best. Ban this, ban that, force this, force that. We have no choice, the government makes all the rules and there are no limits according to this congressman from San Francisco.
