Well, it’s coming out at last and people are finally saying it. The recession is here to stay for a while. And what do you call a recession that just won’t go away. You call that a depression. There is no plan to grow the economy or re-ignite the job creation machine or do much of anything. Well, maybe more bail outs for the rich, and more welfare crumbs for Joe and Jane Q. Public. Politicians, with very few exceptions seem to be going with the flow, no matter how that flow resembles more and more a sewer. While I agree with Hightower on many of his points, and agree that infra-structure needs repair and upgrade, I’m not keen on borrowing more money from China that China no longer wants to lend to us anyway. Not keen on printing up more funny money as well.
Or to have the Federal Reserve print a dollar up and immediately owe dollar in debt on that first dollar. Dollars need to be re-directed not taxed or borrowed. We’ve come to an end on that.

As far as energy goes…If energy can’t pay for itself, then we don’t need it. This is where nuclear, wind, and solar, and political corn ethanol part ways with hemp ethanol and other natural high return, low investment, non-subsidy energy sources. Oil from petroleum has huge difficulties most of which stem from the enormous political control of the oil companies and the banking cartel that is part and parcel of them. The overwhelming dependence on oil has led to may wars as well. The ability to both turn off supply and turn on supply is crucial to pushing profits into the obscene zone. Of all the types of profits, the obscene ones are the most juicy by far! Also, there is toxicity in the plastics, the detergents, the personal care products, and (unbelievable as it may sound) the pharmaceuticals made from oil. A lot of these could be mad from hemp. Or other substances.Maybe pig fat, or something like that. More in line with the genetic heritage of humanity. Were the cavemen lubing themselves up in the tar pits when they felt the need to freshen up? Somehow I don’t think so. They rubbed down and rinsed off with hemp soap, or some other kind of plant or reed or whatever. The honest dermatologist today will warn his patient off the harsh petrochemical products.
But getting back to energy. Solar, wind, and other forms of energy still are not viable on large scale. The batteries and storage for them and the toxic metals that need to be mined and recycled are things that are rarely mentioned. Hemp has none of these problems.
Compared to political boondoggle corn ethanol with it’s fertilizer, pesticide, genetically modified Franken-crop DNA structure, hemp is a dream.
It needs none of this crap. Also it is arguably one of the best protein providers of any plant on earth. And very tasty as well!
Go Hemp!
